Here's the hotel's tree that inspired me to start decorating!

First Jhonny had to get out the Nutcracker...

Next the downstairs 'grownup' tree! Kita insisted on helping...

Here it is all done up with a guard rail to keep puppy away...

Changing the dining table from Thanksgiving to Christmas is so much fun...

Putting out treats for all the delivery people is a must!

And of course...the reindeer on the roof!

Kita wasn't too thrilled with her holiday decoration...

Sandie Girl was the first one to see the tree in the studio...

Laurie Pie came over for dinner ...

and saw the tree in the studio...Loved the Kitty!

Now for Lovely Mary ...

The giraffe was a new addition that everyone loves...Especially Po Chu!

Simply Irresistible!

Lovely Maggie had a delightful Christmas Tea at The Athenaeum.

Next year I think I'll have one as it's so much fun & the decorations are beyond festive!

It was delightful seeing Matthew Bourne's 'Swan Lake' at the Ahmanson with high schoolers invited to the performance by The Center Theatre Group.

The Ahmanson's Christmas tree!

Sweet Maryam stopped by before Izabela and Wayne's dinner party to see all the decorations...Especially the 'Kiddies Tree' in the studio. Love the Christmas boots!

Maryam and Alexis....

Oh my gosh it was so much fun...Thank you Izabela and Wayne!

Precious Amy, Nikka and I went to Sandie Girl's for a Christmas Tea....

...and the Christmas stockings she does for everyone stopped us cold!

Great fun seeing the table decoration planning for her Christmas dinner for 18!!!

Later I got to see the finished tables...

As always, Valerie's Christmas soireé was over the top fabulous!

I even got to chat with Santa....

And the most elegant spread!

I was just delighted Jim Folsom, Director of the Huntington's Botanical Gardens stopped by the class at the Huntington...

And two adorable firemen...

Dear Joycie treated Carol and me to a Christmas lunch at the Polo Lounge...

Seeing the Beverly Hills Hotel's Christmas tree every year is a must!

Thank you dear Claire and Patrick...oh of course, adorable Charley...

Dinner at The Valley Hunt Club was magical!

Now for the studio class Christmas party...But first we had to get some work done...

Soooo much food...

Of course it wouldn't be a party without Holiday Crackers/Poppers!

Yea!

Lovely Maggie had a sensational Christmas gathering with all of her amazing friends...

Maggie does all the baking...

Even a marvelous Pavlova...

Michael from MA comes to the studio each year with Chloe, his darling daughter to paint their Christmas cards and then Nikka scans and prints....Just like that! 😂
And yes, that's little Puppy Popper!

Christmas Day was glorious thanks to dear Carol Soucek King who invited Nikka and me to the Jonathan Club for dinner with three other lovely guests.

The carolers were wonderful!

Heartfelt thanks dearest Carol...It was memorable!
Well, this has certainly gotten way too long and you're probably nodding off but I have to show you just a few of my favorite ornaments on the tree in the studio.
When I did a workshop in Pleasantville, a student made this exquisite ornament for me.

I guess it's no secret I watch Sumo wrestling on NHK...

This one from my bucket list seeing the Spanish Riding School in Vienna.

Who doesn't love Pooh...

...and Betty Boop..

Years ago when I did Pasadena Showcase House, one of the vendors gave me this adorable lamb.

That's a good way to close, with a precious lamb.
In 2020, may you receive all you could wish for with great joy and many satisfactions.
